Job brief · manufacturing software
Every job, from order to signature, in one place.
Fabristack is manufacturing software for small manufacturers: orders, production, stock, and compliance in one system, so sales, the shop floor, and delivery all work from the same job. No more spreadsheets, paper trails, or phoning around to find out where an order is.
- 30-day free trial of every module

- Your records stay yours, even if you stop paying

Built from watching how small manufacturers actually run.
Fabristack grew out of client work with small manufacturers — the same spreadsheets, paper trails, and dropped handoffs between sales, the shop floor, and delivery, showing up on job after job. It’s the tool I wished those clients already had.
- 01Orders lost between sales and the shop floor
Fixed: One order everyone works from, with its stage, work orders, and history in one place.
- 02Stock counted by hand — nobody fully trusts the number
Fixed: Stock moves when material is issued, received, or delivered, and low stock gets flagged.
- 03Compliance paperwork found after the fact, not before
Fixed: Certificates flagged 30 days before they expire, and audits run from a checklist.
- 04Customers phoning to ask where their order is
Fixed: A tracking link they can check themselves, from order to signed handover.
Three modules. Pay for the ones you use.
Each module is billed monthly on its own, so you only pay for what your business actually needs. Every new company starts with a 30-day free trial of all three.
Order Management
Takes a job from first order through production, delivery, and payment — with every status change on record.
- Sales orders with line discounts, customer records, and a full status history
- Work orders (job cards) with bills of materials, checked off as material is issued
- Delivery by your driver, customer collection, or courier — signed for on screen, with a PDF proof of delivery
- Payments recorded against each order, with part-paid worked out for you
Inventory Controller
Stock levels you can trust, and the purchasing to keep them there — so a job doesn’t sit waiting on material.
- Reorder points that flag low and out-of-stock items
- Suppliers, PDF purchase orders, and receiving against each PO
- Stock takes assigned to staff, with a full stock ledger
- Barcode and QR labels, scanned from a phone
Compliance Tracker
Certifications and audits in one register, so nothing lapses without you knowing.
- Certificates tracked by issuer, number, and expiry date
- Flagged 30 days before they expire
- Audits with pass / fail / N/A checklists
- One-click PDF compliance report
One job, from order to signature.
Each step happens in the same system, so nothing gets retyped and the job never falls between two desks.

Order in
Capture the customer, line items, and discounts. Every order gets a number, a stage, and a history of who changed what.
- OP 020Production
Into production
Raise work orders — your job cards — from the order. Materials come from each item’s bill of materials and are checked off as they’re issued.
- OP 030Stock controller
Stock & buying
Low stock gets flagged before it stops a job. Raise purchase orders, receive deliveries against them, and run stock takes.
- OP 040Driver
Out the door
Your own driver delivers, the customer collects, or a courier takes it. Whoever receives it signs on screen, and the proof of delivery is kept as a PDF.
- OP 050Bookkeeper
Getting paid
Record payments as they land. Part-paid or paid is worked out from the money, not ticked by hand, and the tax invoice number from your accounting software sits on the order.
- OP 060Your customer
Customer kept posted
Send a tracking email in one tap. The link shows the customer where their order is, and the signatures once it’s handed over — no phoning in to ask.
Fewer “where’s my order?” calls.
Send a tracking email from the order in one tap. It links to a page your customer can check any time, without signing in, that follows the order from confirmation to signed handover.
Your name on it
The tracking email carries your logo, contact details, and VAT number — not ours.
What happens next
The email spells out the stage, the promised date, and how the order will reach them.
Proof at handover
Once it leaves, the courier, waybill, and signature show up on the same link.

Everyone sees their part of the job.
Give each person a role, and Fabristack shows them only what that role needs. Order access and prices are enforced by the database, not just hidden on screen. Drivers don’t see prices, and auditors can look but can’t change anything.

Straight answers.
When does Fabristack launch?
It’s being tested now, and there’s no public date yet. Sign the sheet below and you’ll get one email the day it goes live.
How much will it cost?
Each module is priced on its own and billed monthly in rand, so you only pay for what you use. Prices will be published at launch, and every new company starts with a 30-day free trial of all three modules.
Do I need all three modules?
No. Start with the one that hurts most — say, Order Management — and add Inventory Controller or Compliance Tracker later. Your trial covers all three, so you can see which ones earn their keep.
Does it replace my accounting software?
No, it works alongside it. Fabristack records payments against each order and works out what’s still owed, and keeps the tax invoice number from your accounting software on the order so the two line up.
Can my drivers and workshop staff use it on a phone?
Yes. There’s an Android app for the shop floor and the road: drivers capture signatures on screen at handover, and stock can be looked up or counted by scanning its barcode or QR label with the phone’s camera. In the office, use the Windows app or any browser at app.fabristack.com.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It stays yours. A lapsed module goes read-only rather than locked, so you can still view your records and export them to CSV, Excel, or PDF.
Who’s behind it?
